Pietro is an Italian poet, prose writer, and dramatist. What he said seems to be a simple quote from one of his Sonnets. However, the deep meaning of the verse makes me think about the details. To rule a superego is one of the most difficult task lists in our life. Habit building, willpower, and success also depend on knowing how to rule yourself. We are not constant and static organisms in nature. As a human, we are continuously changing from one mood to another. Also, our biological mechanism is quite swiftly changing but we are taking this for granted. The biological and mood changes alter our behaviors and daily routines. Socializing with people helps us to understand these alterations better. Create your own opportunities to communicate and socialize with others even in the Covid-19 pandemic period. Our neural receptors are also quickly ignited on such occasions. This neural activity makes us change and reinforce our adaptation skills which help us to have a strong grip on life.

Herkes gibi ben de yeni yıla başlarken süper hedefler belirledim. İnsanın yaşı ilerledikçe bu tür kararların zannedildiği kadar kolay gerçekleşmediğini biliyor. Ne de olsa tecrübelerimiz elimizdeki en geçerli gözlemlerimiz olarak duruyor. İnsanın her türlü ortama uyum sağlama kabiliyeti yüksek olmakla birlikte bir eylemi adet ya da alışkanlığa dönüştürebilmek sanıldığı kadar kolay olmayabilir. Sadece yılbaşı kararları arasında yazmanın yeterli olmadığını söylemeliyim. İnsan beyninin bir eylemi alışkanlık haline getirebilmesi için öğrenme sürecine benzer biçimde iki nöron arasındaki elektrik iletimi hattının kolayca tekrarlanabilir olması beklenir. 

Sevilen konularda alışkanlığı oluşturmak daha kolay olurken spor, fiziksel hareketlilik ve ahlaki tutum gibi davranış biçimlerini alışkanlığa dönüştürmek daha zor olabiliyor. 

İnsan beyninin öğrenme biçimlerinden yardım eden tutumlardan birisi de aynı eylemin her günün aynı saatinde tekrarlanmasıdır. Örneğin doktora tezinizi yazmaya çalışıyorsunuz, her gün sizin için en rahat olduğunuz bir vakitte en az 20 dk çalışırsanız. Günden güne daha çok yazabilir olduğunuzu göreceksiniz. Tekrar ve minimum süre bunun için çok önemlidir. Herkes bazı çalışmaların sadece 20 dk ile tamamlanacağını bilir. Bir kere başlar ve en az bir ay devam ederseniz istediğiniz davranışın oturmasını sağlayabilirsiniz. Fakat iyice oturmadan ara verirseniz bütün sürece baştan tekrar başlamanız beklenir. Eğer yardımcı olmak için bir teknik isterseniz Pomodoro‘yu kullanabilirsiniz. 

İnsan ne kadar zor öğrenir ve öğrendiğine nispetle hızla unutan bir varlıktır. Şimdi yeni yıl kararlarınızda başarılar dilerim. Her değişim büyük enerji ister. Entropiye göre bunu devam ettirebilmekte enerji ister… Kolay gelsin.
