Rainy and Dark Mornings

Mornings are new beginnings for our twenty-four hours marathons. Sun is the start line for the day. Our bodies wake up from the partial death of sleep with the lights of the sun. In winter, the sun is shy to show its face. This extends the night and darkness. In human physiology, serotonin is a maestro in the biochemical balance. As said; “Serotonin is the key hormone that stabilizes our mood, feelings of well-being, and happiness“. However, it is not easy to activate such feelings on a rainy winter morning. Especially in our country, we wake up to extended nights of total darkness. To wake up and to adapt to the day takes more time than you guess. It is not only a matter of functionality but the degradation of happiness.

The question is do we have to build our own happiness or find new sources of happiness without the sun? How do you overcome this obstacle? Do you have a new sun?
